![]() ![]() The plan failed thanks to Scar's older brother, Mufasa, saving the cubs just in time. Relying on them to get rid of Simba (and Nala) when he tricked the young cub into entering the Elephant Graveyard to prove his bravery to both him and his father. Relying now on his claws and his own intellect, Scar later on entered an alliance with the hyena pack of the Outlands and thus used them to assist in his cause. ![]() Causing Scar to want revenge on his brother, his earlier plans were foiled when the roar was taken from Scar because of his usage of it to destroy the rest of the Lion Guard. Mufasa, having been told about what happened, ended up giving Scar his trademark name and downplayed the events of what happened. But in his arrogance, he was defeated by Askari's roar and was destroyed with the cobra. To try and solidify his alliance, the lion used a cobra to poison the mind of Askari (and give him his trademark scar) to blackmail him into doing what he wished. During his time as leader, a mysterious lion managed to convince Scar to use the roar and might to rule the Pride Lands with him, rather than staying as the guard's leader. Scar was given the gift of the 'Roar of the Elders', a roar used by the leader to summon the great lions of the Pride Lands' past to roar with him. In his youth, Scar had been the leader of the Lion Guard, a collective team of lions whom worked together to keep the Circle of Life in balance. He is from the 1994 Disney Film, The Lion King. Scar is one of the fellow villains summoned by Hades in Sorcerers of The Magic Kingdom. Scar as shown in 'The Lion King'' "You see? He admits it! Murderer! " ![]()
